Big Slice Apples were first cooked in Grandma Hoerner's farm kitchen, made from apples straight from the orchard in the late 1800's.  Her grandson Duane McCoy, inherited his grandmother's recipe.  Recalling the wonderful flavor from his youth, he worked hard to replicate her recipe, finding the perfect blend of firm apples and sweet fruit juice sweetened sauce.  From that first all natural recipe, more fantastic flavors have been developed, sixteen in all.  

I was sent the Big Slice cherry vanilla to try out.  First off, I love the packaging!  It is easy to open and has a super cute design.  I'm a sucker for packaging and this product says...I'm cute and delicious!  I torn into this bad boy and devoured it within minutes.  It had big chunks of apples and cherries and a delicious sauce to boot!  What makes this product unique is it's not your typical applesauce....it's an adult version of applesauce that is made with real chunks of apples cherries.  I like to purchase applesauce at the grocery store but usually only have two options 1) purchase a huge jar or 2) purchase little kid cups.  Neither of these are options for on the go moms who are looking for a healthy snack option.  What is even greater is they offer 16 different flavors!

The Blueberry Snack Bar is the first thing I tried out.  Let me tell you.....this bar is AMAZING!  It had a great mixture of blueberry and apricots and the perfect texture.  So often, breakfast bars can be too hard or extremely dry tasting....not this bar!  It was soft and chewy with the right amount of goodness.  This was my favorite product of all the items sent.

Next up is the apricots.  They came in a little pouch that contained 3 apricots per serving.  I opened these little bags up and consumed every one!  They were not at all like the ones from the grocery store (hard to chew).  These little guys were soft and chewy....so good!  

Lastly, the ApriSweet dark chocolate bar was a sweet treat without the guilt.  The dark chocolate mixed with the apricot kernels and dried apricots is an interesting combination that tasted superb!  Biting into the crisp dark chocolate and having a chewy apricot piece here and there was something I really enjoyed!
