I was excited to try out Forlan Hyaluronic Acid Serum with vitamin A, C, D, & E.  Just the title of this serum sounds interesting!  I had heard about hyaluronic acid before, but I was really unsure as to what it actually does for the skin.  I mean, the word “acid” sounds like something I would NOT want to put on my skin, so I did a little research.

So basically, hyaluronic acid has moisture retention properties and now that I just turned 40, I can use all the moisture retention properties as I can get!  The serum comes in a pump bottle.  With one pump, you get just the right amount to cover your entire face and neck.  It is colorless and has just a faint floral smell.  It has a gel like consistency that is lightweight (like Aloe Vera).  I really like how lightweight the formula is and how quickly it dries.

 Application

I wash my face and apply this right afterward.  My face absorbs it right away and dries quickly.  I then apply my moisturizer and makeup primer.  You have to be careful not to apply too much because I did experience some stickiness on my face when I applied too much (two pumps).  Since you only need one pump, twice a day, this bottle will last you a few months.  

Final Thoughts

I have been using this serum for three weeks and I can report that my skin feels hydrated and plump.  It has Aloe Vera, Witch Hazel & Lavender Oil in it and all 3 are not only amazing for skin, but contain soothing/healing properties as well.  Since my skin is loosing hyaluronic acid as I age, it is replenishing what I have lost and adding a healthy, dewy glow.  This rich formula rejuvenates and hydrates my skin adding the benefits of multiple Vitamins all in one.
