Elastic Memory Foam Mattress Pad Bed Topper Review
My daughter spends a lot of time in her room, she is a teenager so I expect nothing less. In particular, she spends many hours sitting on her bed doing homework and on the weekends she sleeps in....very late. She has been complaining of her back hurting and wakes up many times during the night. Her mattress is fairly new and I was not interested in purchasing a new box spring and mattress. I also was not interested in spending $$$ for a Sleep Number bed. The solution was a elastic memory foam mattress pad bed topper. It arrived vacuumed packed/protected in a large box. The instructions mention it may have an odor and needed air out for 48 hours. I unpacked the topper and laid it out in the living room to air out and "puff up" to its original size.
After it had time to breathe for 48 hours, it was time to put it on her bed. It is relativity heavy and required myself and my daughter to carry it and place it on her bed. I was concerned that it was not going to be long enough, but that was not the case as it fit perfectly from end to end.

Final Thoughts
I am thrilled with this memory foam topper and so is my daughter. She loves the gel like feel and how her body sinks into the foam. It helps to relieve pressure off her back which in turn improves her sleep. She no longer wakes up in the middle of the night with back pain. She no longer complains every day about wanting a new bed. This topper is a great alternative to replacing your mattress and will save you money with the same results.

Reading this reminded me of the struggles we had last year with my niece’s bed. The springs in mattress were poking through just enough to cause discomfort, but the mattress still looked fine on the outside. We didn’t want to buy a whole new one either.
