If you follow my blog, then you know I love my beauty products.  I love changing up my makeup, hair style, and skin care routine.  Being a blogger allows me the opportunity to try several different brands and I am super excited to try a few products from the OZ Naturals line.  

I heard about OZ Naturals about six months ago while searching Amazon for an all natural facial cleanser.  I started to do a little digging and discovered OZ Naturals offers an entire line of cleansers, toners, serums and moisturizers made from organic and natural ingredients.

The first product I want to talk about is the OZ Naturals Retinol serum.  Now, this serum contains 2.5% retinol, which is the highest concentration of retinol you can contain without a prescription.  It also contains Astaxanthin and Vitamin E which are powerful antioxidants that help maintain the health of your skin.  In combination, these ingredients are known to reduce hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and fine lines.  

Retinol has time and again proven itself to be a potent youth reviving ingredient. I mentioned before, using a toner is one product I tend to skip or forget to use.  I always had this misconception that toners were for people who have acne.  As I have learned, this is not true and everyone can benefit from a great toner.  They can be used as a great base before applying serums and moisturizers as well as used throughout the day to freshen your skin and provide hydration.  


The OZ Naturals Mineral Toner contains a combination of natural ingredients such as glycolic acid, amino acids, vitamin c, witch hazel, ocean minerals and active plant extracts which help with damaged skin.  

The directions say to first shake the bottle.  Then you spray your face, neck and décolleté area after you have cleansed your face.  It contains organic sulfur that acts as a healing agent to drive ingredients deep into your skin.  I love the feeling of the cool mist on my face.  Most of the time my face is tight and dry after cleansing and using the toner adds back hydration and moisture.  I notice a slight tingling sensation as well, not sure what ingredient causes that, but it is soothing.  It dries quickly and does not leave my skin oily or leave behind any residue.  If you want to target certain areas of your face, you can use a cotton pad to apply the toner.  

It does have a slight scent that reminds me of witch hazel.  Most of you have no issues with the witch hazel scent, however, some may be like me and not particularly care for it.  Overall, I have been quite happy with this toner and I am glad it has become a vital step in my skin care routine.

I must say, this is one huge bottle!  I have tried several vitamin C serums and this is the biggest bottle I have seen.  You definitely gets your monies worth!  This serum has a great citrus scent, and using it feels like aroma therapy on my face.  I am big on scents and really gravitate to skin care products that smell good.  If a facial product smells nice, it makes applying it much more enjoyable.  

Since using this serum, my face has a fresher appearance. It also brightens, and gives my skin a real dewy glow. Before using this product, I had some patches of dry looking skin on my forehead, but that is no longer an issue. About two drops can cover your entire face & neck. It's rich and has a nice texture to it. Another aspect that I love is it does not feel heavy on my skin and actually gets absorbed into my skin, not just sits on top.  

I have tried other serums that never absorb into the skin, they feel like a layer of wetness on my face.... not a fun feeling.  My skin feels plumper, dewy and soft.  It has a dropper that dispenses a clear liquid.  It is thicker than water, but thinner than a gel.  This product is manufactured in Florida which is quite fitting when you think about Florida's beautiful sun and abundant orange trees!  These results have been pretty amazing and I will continue to use the serum.

My Review/Thoughts/Opinion

So this is a supplement for children that helps aid in healthy digestion.  I was very excited to review this product as my daughter suffers from reflux.  Reflux has to do with the kidney's and how it functions to rid waste from the body.  One of the side effects of reflux is constipation.  My daughter has suffered from reflux for years and consequently, all the side effects that come with being on a daily prophylatic antibiotic.  

She has been taking the chewable supplements for 2 weeks now and is seeing positive results.  She has been regular for the last 4 days and I have also noticed more energy and a happier child.  When your digestive system is not working the way it should, you feel sluggish, bloated, and moody.  She seems like a different kid these past few days and as a parent, I feel happy knowing these are helping.  Hopefully, we will be able to take her off the daily medication soon, but until then, she will continue to take Eliminies.  If you would like to read more reviews or purchase Eliminies, you can find it on Amazon.

Xtava Professional Auto Rotating Curling Iron Review

EEEKKK!  I love hair tools and when the opportunity arrises to review a product by Xtava...well...I jump at the chance.  I own several Xtava products (spiral wand, flat iron, hair dryer) and now this new baby!  This is the Xtava auto rotating curling iron.  What makes this iron a little different from the rest is the auto rotating ceramic tourmaline barrel.  Yes, the barrel rotates with the push of button (left or right).  

This iron arrives in the sleekest black box...the box even says "Silk Edition".  I'm a sucker for packaging and this box is breathtaking!  Once I opened the box and plugged it in, I noticed it heats up to 430 degrees.  I was super excited to see this as this is the temperature setting I always use.  Before I began to use it, I played around a bit with the auto rotating buttons.  I am left handed and I was happy to see this iron accommodates us lefties. 

When you push the button, it begins a nice, even, rotation.  Depending on which way you place your hair in the barrel, and which way you want your curl to go, will determine which button you push (L or R).  Now, I have been curling my hair for over twenty years and I have to admit, I had some issues at first.  Several times I pushed the button only to realize seconds later it was turning the wrong direction and I had to start over.  I think what made it even more difficult was looking in the mirror and of course everything is backwards.

But, I don't give up easily and continued to teach myself where the buttons are located and which button does what (without looking).  I soon got the hang of it and I was an auto curling pro in no time!  Now, you can use this iron without using the rotating feature....that works too.  But to be honest, once I got the hang of it, I really enjoyed the auto rotating feature.  It made it easier to curl in the back of my head in those hard to reach places.

My thoughts/experience:

Like I mentioned, I use this product as the second step in my skincare routine.  I wash my face first, then I apply this product.  I take a cotton ball and use 3-5 drops.  I wipe my entire face and neck with the pad.  I could not believe the dirt it picked up even right after cleansing my face!  It literally lifts excess dirt off my face.  I had never used a toner before and I can't believe I was leaving all this dirt and oil on my face after cleansing!  This toner also restores the natural Ph level, contains sea kelp and tightens and cleans my pores to prevent clogging and blackheads.  Wowza!  I never knew what I was missing by not using a toner until now.

I also want to mention that I have been using it twice a day for 3 weeks and my complexion has improved.  It has a pleasant smell, it reminds me of witch hazel, that dries quickly leaving no residue behind.

This tea has a wonderful flavor....it reminds me of the way Sleepytime Tea tastes.  I like that it does not contain caffeine as this allows me to drink it in the evening instead of coffee.  I drink coffee all day long and since I started drinking this tea, my coffee intake has slowly decreased.  In regards to loosing weight, I have not seen much of a weight loss but I do have increased energy.  I think it is because it contains ginseng and Senna.  Another benefit I have had is a general detoxifying and cleansing experience.  I feel less sluggish, tired and I am moving more.  If you are trying to loose weight, the bag recommends drinking 2-3 cups a day.  However, in doing so, the bag would only last about two weeks.  It is pretty expensive tea in my opinion.  However, if you are into loosing weight then you may have to drink it more often.  For me, I enjoy one cup in the evening and feel revived.  You can read more reviews and purchase Infinite Joy on Amazon.

So the underlining question is does it work?  I can honestly say that "yes" it works and I am seeing results.  I started to see results at week two.  My target area seemed less noticeable and felt less bumpy.  My cellulite scars are starting to fade and I feel that this cream is to thank.  I am on week four and have almost used up the entire bottle.  It can be difficult to remember to apply the cream twice a day.....but when you start to see results.....you don't miss an application.
