I have tried several makeup brushes over the years...some amazing...some terrible...and some that are just OK. My favorite are Sigma brushes and they are the ones I have been using for the last several years. I was offered to try out a new brand by Yalmeh. I am familiar with Yalmeh as I have tried several of their skincare items and was excited to try out their new brush. This is the Yalmeh Y19 Foundation brush.

As you can see from the packaging, it is a very attractive brush with a lot of attention to detail. It has a beautiful handle that is the perfect length. The bristles are so soft....I mean really soft. It reminded me of the way a lucky rabbits foot feels....remember those things? The bristles are made of synthetic fibers and shaped in a tapered dome.

This brush is advertised as a foundation brush, but I found it a little small to be a foundation brush. I like to cover more surface area with my foundation brush and prefer a kabuki style for foundation application. However, I found it to be amazing at applying bronzer, highlighter, blush, and powder around my under eye area.

I really can't express in words how soft this brush feels on the face. It glided effortlessly across my cheek bones and blended my contouring bronzer with ease. I had no shedding of fibers occur while using the brush and even during cleaning. This brush offers amazing quality and I am sure we will see more brushes from Yalmeh in the near future.

Final Thoughts

Yalmeh has knocked it out of the park with this makeup brush...It is everything a professional makeup brush should offer. It is made with high quality material and a beautiful wooden handle. It's synthetic fibers are soft and do not shed with application. In my opinion, it is too small to be a foundation brush, but is better suited for blush, contouring, and highlighting.
