Instanatural Skincare Review

Instanatural Skincare Review

~Vitamin C Serum~
~Argan Oil Hair Mask~
~Vitamin C Moisturizer~

When I think of natural skincare, the first company that comes to mind is InstaNatural.  They offer several products, from hair masks to cellulite cream and everything in-between.  I have tried several Instanatural products over the last few months and I am going to highlight three in this review that I feel are winners.  The first product I want to talk about is the Instanatural Vitamin C Serum.

This one is probably my favorite!  This serum has a great citrus scent, and using it feels like aroma therapy on my face.  I am big on scents and really gravitate to skin care products that smell good.  If a facial product smells nice, it makes applying it much more enjoyable.  Since using this serum, my face has a fresher appearance. It also brightens, and gives my skin a real dewy glow.

Before using this product, I had some patches of dry looking skin on my forehead, but that is no longer an issue. About two drops can cover your entire face & neck. It's rich and has a nice texture to it. Another aspect that I love is it does not feel heavy on my skin and actually gets absorbed into my skin, not just sits on top.  I have tried other serums that never absorb into the skin, they feel like a layer of wetness on my face.... not a fun feeling.  My skin feels plumper, dewy and soft.  These results have been pretty amazing and I will continue to use the serum.

The next product is the Instanatural Argan Oil Hair Mask.  I am a big believer in hair masks and I make it a point to do some kind of deep conditioning once a week.  I have color treated hair that tends to get dried out if I do not supplement with a deep conditioning.

This mask comes in a big jar and has a very light citrus scent.  The directions suggest using it as a leave in conditioner, however, I do not do well with leave in conditioners.  They tend to be too heavy, leaving my hair feeling oily and dirty.  I use a pretty good size dollop, rubbing it with both hands and running it through my hair from root to tip.  I then use a comb and brush it through my hair making sure to cover all my stands.  I then grab a hair clip and wrap my hair on top of my head, securing it with the clip.  I leave the mask in my hair for about 10 minutes while I shave my legs and scrub my face.  This routine is a bit time consuming which is why I do it on the weekends when I have more time to shower.  After the 10 minutes is up, I rinse it out completely (it takes a little while to rinse it all out) and follow up with a cleansing conditioner (WEN).

The results is hair that is soft, shines, and smells great.  I have tried using this mask as a daily conditioner but that has resulted in oily hair.  It is like trying to find the perfect balance with this product and using it too often is not always better.  My hair soaks in the argan oil, shea butter, coconut oil and jojoba oil.  I find that using this product weekly works best for me.

Instanatural's Vitamin C Moisturizer is power packed with benefits.  Fist off, it contains 20% vitamin c whereas most comparable vitamin c moisturizers contain 10%-15%.  It also contains hyaluronic acid and niacin-amide, two ingredients I was using separately.  What is hyaluronic acid you ask?  Lets look at the definition:

Definition of Hyaluronic Acid:

The unique properties of Hyaluronic Acid make it the ideal anti-aging treatment for a good skincare routine. Hyaluronic Acid plays an important role in tissue hydration, lubrication and cellular function. Incredibly, Hyaluronic Acid is able to hold more water than any other natural substance - making it one of the world's best moisturizers. Its unmatched hydrating properties result in increased smoothness and softening and a decrease in wrinkles.

I was surprised to find that hyaluronic acid is actually "a naturally occurring carbohydrate in the human body”.   It is found in large amounts in between skin cells, and in the fluids in the eyes and joints. As your body ages, it produces less hyaluronic acid. Using a serum that contains hyaluronic acid is one of the ways to restore a youthful look and feel to your skin.

So basically, hyaluronic acid has moisture retention properties and now that I just turned 40, I can use all the moisture retention properties as I can get!  The moisturizer  comes in a pump bottle.  With one pump, you get just the right amount to cover your entire face and neck.  It is colorless and has just a faint floral smell.  I really like how lightweight the formula is and how quickly it dries.

Final Thoughts:

My final thoughts on these products have been very positive as a whole.  I really like the routine of using all three products and feel that they compliment each other in fulfilling my needs.  If I had to pick my favorite, it's a toss up between the Vitamin C Serum and the Vitamin C Moisturizer.  I am going to continue this skin care routine and feel they are a vital aspect to my glowing skin!  Instanatural offers a 100% lifetime satisfaction money back guarantee.  Let me say that again...Instanatural offers a 100% lifetime satisfaction money back guarantee!  It is not too often you see a promise like this....... that's pretty cool.  Their products do not contain parabens or sulfates and they disclose every ingredient on the bottle.  Instanatural is a great company offering unique products they stand behind.  You can purchase InstaNatural products on Amazon or learn more about them HERE.
